Sara’s journey towards natural and healthy lifestyle choices began over 20 years ago. At the time, Sara was a stay at home mom with a husband who traveled extensively. She struggled daily with feeling depressed and unmotivated. Even making a phone call for a repairman became daunting. With a family history of depression, her doctor prescribed the usual anti-depressants and sent her home.
Something in her knew that there might a different way.
Through research and study, she realized her diet could be partially to blame for her emotional state. Sara made several dietary changes, saw marked improvement, and has never struggled with being depressed again. Life was great! Until another setback two years later.
One day, while bending over to pick something up, she heard a loud pop. Sara found herself in great pain. The excruciating pain in her low back prevented her from sleeping and from enjoying all the things she loved like cycling, tennis and swimming, as well as playing with her daughters. The doctors said she was looking at pain meds, steroid shots and possibly surgery. Ugh! Her sister told her to try Yoga.
The first 6 months were awful. Although it made her back feel a lot better she found it incredibly boring and couldn’t wait to get better and get out of there! Again, a voice inside spoke to her and said there was a bigger reason for her to be there than just her back and she was not going to go down the road of drugs.
She continued with Yoga and is so glad she did. It has been an incredible blessing to say the least.
By making different choices, Sara began to find herself for the first time and discovered empowering tools for health, growth and transformation. Where she once suffered with low self-worth and lacked confidence, Yoga helped her to discover what was truly important to her and her passion and purpose in life.
Sara became a certified Yoga Instructor in 2001, completed her Yoga therapy certification in 2006 and in 2010, dove into her Ayurvedic studies. This knowledge gives Sara a complete tool box for physical, emotional and mental well being that she loves to share with others.
Additional certifications are through YogaMotion, Integrative Yoga Therapy, Whole Health Medicine Institute, Global College of Natural Medicine and Evergreen Herb Garden as well as Aromahead Institute for Aromatherapy.

I highly recommend Sara for those of you that are struggling. I personally was dealing with nutritional challenges, getting back to doing things for myself first and taking care of the family. It is a difficult task to do being a past RN and caregiver for all of my life.
I signed up for Sara's one-on-one coaching to put me on a healthy program of lemon water first in the morning, my yoga practice and buying more organic! It has been a challenge for me but I so appreciate Sara's guidance and support throughout the program. She is a phenomenal woman!
